stbmomo_300"Croatian Stories - Tales of Croatian Heritage in California" is a recently premiered 45 minute documentary by film maker Chip Curry of Chrysalis Films about 11 Croatians living in the San Francisco Bay Area. Curry interviewed these Croatian Americans of all ages from diverse walks of life and recorded their responses to questions such as: When, why and how did your family first arrive in the Bay Area? What aspects of Croatian culture are the most meaningful to you and why? What are your hopes for future generations of Croatian Americans? Curry interwove these recorded interviews with footage from the respondents’ daily lives, documentary photographs and other visual effects to create a moving 45-minute film.
