The former Marko Polo Festival has been expanded. In additional to great music and dance, there will be informative workshops about Croatian culture.

1-3PM Workshops

1PM - Main Hall.
Croatian Singing and Music-John Morovich John is currently the Artistic Director of the Seattle Junior Tamburitzans and has been featured performer with Vela Luka Croatian Dance Ensemble and Ruze Dalmatinke Orchestra. He is a founding member to Sinovi Tamburitza Orchestra of Seattle.

2PM - Main Hall
Lindjo Dance from Dubrovnik - Nick Petrish Nick is a dancer, master musician, and maker of instruments. Originally from Anacortes but now residing in Dubrovnik, Croatia, Nick is an authority on Croatian music and dance.

1PM - Small Hall
Croatians in California 1841 - 2005 Adam Eterovich, Historian and published author.

2PM - Small Hall
The Croatian Experience in California Winemaking - Dr Frane Franicevic. A native of the Croatian island of Hvar, Frane was born into a family with a centuries-old winemaking tradition. He is the founder of Sunce Winery.

3 - 8PM Performances, dancing and singing.

Performances will be interspersed throughout the festival. There will be dance music for everyone's pleasure including kolos, polkas and waltzes. Favorite songs will be sung in the bar accompanied by the tamburasi. Performers include Nick Petrish, John Morovich, Dalmacijo Singers, Stari Novi Tamburasi, Slavonian Traveling Band, Westwind International Dance Ensemble, Koraci Croatian Dance Ensemble, Loweizanie Polish Dancers. There will be a wide variety of traditional Croatian food for sampling including sarma, cevapcici, Dalmatian potato salad, apple strudel, hrstule, slane sardele, bakalar, and kobacica.
