The renown Yale Russian Chorus headlines show openned by the Dalmacijo Singers from San Francisco
The Yale Russian Chorus, founded in 1953, is recognized as one of the world's most important performance ensembles of Slavic music. Under current artistic director Mark Bailey, the Chorus has performed at Carnegie Hall and the White House and toured Russia and Ukraine; the repertoire spans the twelfth century to the twenty-first, and includes a variety of sacred and secular music, from ancient chant to folk songs to major choral works.
The Dalmacijo Singers, based in San Francisco, have been delighting audiences since 1986. Under the direction of Rajna Ledoux, their repertoire consists of songs from Croatia mixed with songs from Slovenia, Bosnia and other Balkan countries.
